THE PRE-INSPECTION
INTERVIEW
The same way you dip your toe in the water before simply jumping in the lake, we like to spend a moment or two with you to go over the inspection. We explain the inspection contract, the written report, and some of the terminology you might hear that doesn't exactly make its way into everyday conversation. We'll also go over any expectations you might have pefore we begin.
THE
INSPECTION
Generally, the standard ASHI inspection will cover the home's heating and air conditioning systems (temperature permitting); interior plumbing; electrical systems; the roof, attic and visible insulation; walls, ceiling, floors, windows and doors; and the foundation basement and structure. While not required, we highly encourage you to participate in the inspection. Not to help out, of course, but instead to ask questions and learn first-hand about your potential new home.
INSPECTION
WRAP-UP
After the inspection B&W Home Inspection will personally review the findings with you and provide you immediately with a written report. He or she will also review your entire ASHI inspection experience to make sure all of your questions are answered, both about the house and what you may choose to do with the findings.

THE ASHI
EXPERIENCE

And just what is this ASHI Experience?

It's a combination of things. For one, it's working with a professional home inspector who has passed the most rigorous examinations in effect today. This includes being required to perform more than 250 professional inspections before being allowed to become a member.

It's also working with an inspector who subscribes to ASHI's strict code of ethics, to avoid any conflicts of interst.

But beyond just working with the best in the business, it's also working with an inspector who will provide kind and curteous treatment from the very first phone call. Someone who can educate you on the individual characteristics of the home. Someone who arrives on time and provides professional appearance and identification.

The ASHI Experience gives you more than just technical expertise. It provides you peace of mind.
